Schools and Universities of Egypt: 6 Rules for the Advancement of New Grants in Private Universities 2017-2018

The Council of Private Universities, headed by Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, has set the rules and conditions for new grants in private universities for the current academic year.

1- The scholarship applicant must not be less than the minimum admission level.

2. The children of the martyrs shall have priority for the army, police, civilians and students with
special needs.

3. The student must be a graduate of the academic year 2016017 from a public school.

4- No papers shall be submitted for admission to any private or private university.

5 - limit the request for grant from one university only.

6. Applicants should apply directly to the universities concerned.

 Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, said that a number of border governorates have been contacted to direct part of these grants to the people of those governorates, in light of the rules approved by the Council.
